Adjusting image properties
Who is this article for?
Users working with the creator module.
Creator module access is required.
When you select an image in the creator module, you can adjust its properties to control how it displays and ensure accessibility.
Setting image width and height
When an image is selected, you can adjust the width and height. Default pixels are used, but it is recommended to use a percentage by adding a % sign. This allows the image to scale with the width of the screen. If you set less than 100%, the image is forced to 100% on small screens to increase readability.
Configuring additional image options
Other image options include:
- Alignment – Aligns the image to the left, centre, or right
- Alternative Text – Provides alternative text for captioned images, which helps increase image accessibility and can be required by several accessibility standards
- Captioned image – Adds a box with a text template below the image which you can edit as needed
